How I work
My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply rooted in the mind-body connection. I am trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in an understanding of the nervous system. I integrate somatic and evidence-based approaches to support healing, emotional regulation, and deeper self-understanding.
My foundational belief in therapy is that you are the expert in your experience and I have the background and education to guide you to where you would like to be. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and help you live your life authentically, intentionally, and with more self-trust and joy.

Somatic Experiencing focuses on how the nervous system responds to stress and trauma. Through gentle attention to physical sensations and body signals, we can begin to release patterns of stress that may be held in the body. This process supports greater regulation, resilience, and a deeper sense of safety.
-
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-supported therapy that helps people process difficult or traumatic experiences. By allowing the brain to reprocess memories that feel “stuck,” EMDR can reduce emotional distress and help you feel more present and grounded in everyday life.

Many people notice different “parts” of themselves — for example, a part that tries to stay in control and another that feels vulnerable or overwhelmed. Parts work helps us approach these experiences with curiosity and compassion so different aspects of yourself can feel understood rather than in conflict.

Therapy with me is collaborative and paced according to your needs. I view the therapeutic relationship as an important part of the healing process, offering a space where you can feel safe, understood, and supported as we explore your experiences together.
Many people come to therapy after relationships where they felt unseen or misunderstood. In our work, we can begin to develop new experiences of connection, trust, and emotional safety while exploring meaningful change.
